A VISION IN TOKYO
My journey didn’t begin in a studio, but in the heart of Tokyo. In 2012, while having high tea at a gallery mall in Roppongi, I found myself captivated by a striking promotional banner for an exhibition on the evolution of the kimono. Its vibrant colours and flawless composition were immediate; I could instantly visualise those flat patterns transformed into something tactile, dimensional and alive through the art of origami.
What began as an admiration for the bold hues of Japanese craftsmanship evolved into a decade-long exploration of geometric logic, paper textures and the meticulous architecture of the fold. Today, that same spark of ‘visualising the dimension’ is what drives every piece at WenzArt Gallery - translating the elegance of Japanese aesthetics into structured, contemporary narratives through the discipline of paper.
FROM BOARDROOM TO STUDIO
For years, I navigated the fast-paced corporate world as a B2B marketing professional. I realised that the same discipline I used in marketing - strategy, attention to detail and a focus on excellence - could be channeled into creating contemporary paper art that serves as a mental reset.
This led to the development of the 'Mindful Folds' framework. My practice is built on the belief that art should do more than fill a space; it should serve as a wellness anchor, helping professionals reclaim their focus and celebrate tactile creativity.

Every piece created in the studio is guided by the philosophy of precision-based mindfulness.
